With a population of 1.375 billion, India is on the way to becoming the most populated country in the world. This also concerns the demographics of the country if we see a collective population of children, youngsters, middle-aged workforce and the elderly separately. Even with just 9.8 % of the total population being elderly (citizen aged above 60) India has an extremely huge number of citizens that need provisions of basic necessities as well as aspirational value in life. Hence it becomes an important task for designers to take care of this large demographic and not shunt them in any aspect. Aging brings along various constraints that govern the lifestyle of elderly, like being restricted to travel up-to a certain distance, avoid harsh weather and heavy traffic conditions. This poses challenges that needs to be overcome for their physcial and mental well-being. Mobility of elderly may be affected by their physiological and or psychological factors. There can also be economic challenges that can reduce the possibility of elderly owning a personal mobility device/arrangement designed specifically for their needs. In this project we have tried to bring the sense of freedom to the elderly and develop a vehicle for them that gives them comfort, luxury and. We have tried to tackle the physiological and psychological challenges faced by elderly in order to bring a solution that allows them to move without fear and confusion.
